Finite-Element Analysis

SCADA

American Computers & Engineers, Inc.

SCADA (Structural Computer-Aided Design and Analysis) is a comprehensivestructural analysis and design package based on finite element concepts.SCADA enables users to perform static, dynamic, linear, and nonlinearanalysis of simple and complex structures in 2-D and 3-D. Acomprehensive element library permits the analysis of buildings, storagetanks, bridges, mechanical parts, dams, aircraft structures, and others.SCADA is powerful, yet easy to use, with online help messages andnumerous checks for the validity of input data. SCADA has a solidmodeling preprocessor and numerous generation schemes for efficientpreparation of input. Post-processors include deformed shape, solutionand stress contours, and time history plots. Both steel and concretedesign checks can be made for a variety of codes. Steady state andtransient heat transfer and fluid flow problems in 1-D, 2-D, and 3-D canalso be analyzed.SCADA capabilities include alternative coordinate systems, P-Delta andbuckling analyses, thermal stress and enforced displacement loads, loadcombinations, and up to 150 load cases. There is no limit to the numberof nodes or number of elements.
